New Years Beauty Resolution

Hey everyone, I've been thinking... Why not have a beauty resolution instead of a resolution on loosing weight for example? So this year I have a few resolutions that I am doing- 1. To loose weight 2. This summer I am buying a new swim suit that doesn't look like every other girls 3. To tweeze my brows instead of being to busy to make time for it. 4. I want to go to be more aware of my surroundings and be more kind. 5. To try different makeup looks every other day so I can go out of my comfort zone. Happy new year everyone! 7 Hair Extension Tips

I know hair extensions can be really hard to handle, between washing, drying, curling, flat ironing, and conditioning. Not to mention brushing them out everyday.  They are really hard to take care of.  One of my closest friends is playing Princess Jasmine in our local production of Aladdin.  But she has VERY short hair, and the costume girls really want it long like Jasmine's.  So Julz this is for you- Hope it helps!!!!

Tip #1-

When you go to buy them try to find the the cheapest human hair you can find. They are really inexpensive- and I notice that they seem to last longer then the expensive ones.  They are really cheap and easier to afford.

Tip #2-

Synthetic hair doesn't iron or wash well so don't but them if you are wanting to wash them daily and iron them a lot.

Tip #3-

When you are using an iron on the extensions and they are already attached to your heady- DO NOT PULL!  If you pull your hair follicle can become loose and fall out easily. + It really hurts.

Tip #4-

Try to brush them out before putting them in your hair. It will help reduce the pain of going through your scalp and the extensions.

Tip #5-

If you are applying the extensions in a strait line, use a comb to part it through the side of your head.  It is very easy to do. I f you are still lost check out this diagram below!

Tip #6-

Before you apply the extensions back comb your roots so the extensions have something to have as a base- Like so!

Just take the comb separate the piece of hair you want to apply it.  Then take the hairspray and spray in a solid line at the roots.  Then take the comb and go from half way up the hair and comb down.  This creates volume and extensive lift.

Tip #7-

Hair is your best friend when it comes to extensions, don't be afraid to use a lot.  When I clip in my extensions I really make sure they are hair sprayed in place so they don't fall out when you move around.

Those are all the tips, I hope that it helps big time!

Avon Products Review

Now, people have used Avon forever, since ' Abe Licoln ' (Im just kidding!!!).  Anyway, they have such good products and such clean gentle products, nothing harsh, and almost all of there products has worked for me in the past.  Let's review!!!!

I love there quads, they sell quiet a lot and they smooth on really well, they are super pigmented so they last a super long time, and they are really beautiful on any eyes!

This is the same product, just a close up.  The quads contain 4 eye shadows of course and they all match.

This is they're "God Given" mineral powder.  They are smooth and don't clog pores.  My Mother uses them and she is getting some wrinkles, not a ton but some. And she likes them, most older women can't use too much shimmer on there eyes because it brings way to much attention to them.

She uses the Avon Kabuki brush to apply them and it has soft bristles so your face don't get to much buff.

And my favorite is there Intense Lip Glazes, They add just enough glaze but not too much.  They are also super pigmented so they last a very long time.

And last but not least, the beautiful ultra color rich lip ticks.  They are very pigmented and they last a very long time.  They are really nice on.  So try them out!

 Enjoy Guys!

Scarves- Playing them Up

Scarves are a great statement piece and I wear them all the time... Especially when it gets cold outside.  Now that it is November I wanted to show you guys how to fold your scarves different ways, play them up with pins, and necklaces.  So let's begin shall we?

#1 Tie-

Take either a silk or cotton scarf and loop it around one of the handles on you purse, it is cute and adds a little bit of flair to your dull bag.

#2 Tie-

Loop your scarf around once, then take the ends and twist, twist, twist!  Then not the two together and tie them around the back of your neck.  This is a little hard, but with lots of practice it'll look FANTASTIC!

#3 Tie-

Take the scarf, and bring it around your neck.  It should look like the third picture.  Now tie the two remaining ends into a not.  This will look very good with a button down jacket or maybe a winter jacket.

Tip #1-

I found this on an online blog.  Okay, use 2 scarves for more warmth and style with both colors, and textures.  Find a place to put your scarf around the back of your neck.  Make sure it is comfy, and cozy!  Okay so now take the ends of both of them and pin them together on the left side (your right side shoulder) and 1 pin of your right side (your left side shoulder).

Tip #2-

Or cross both of the untied ends and pin it in the center of both.  Connecting them and making a really cute statement.

Tip #3-

Or just do a simple tie, nothing fancy, but play it up with some cute pins and buttons.  It creates that miss matched feel!  It'll look great, adorable and sweet!

So I hope that this post was a help to all of you, and it cleared up some stuff that was confusing.

Enjoy everyone!

Lip Gloss Savings

Okay, I hate when I love a lip gloss and I am dangerously low on it, so dangerously low that I don't even get anything off the applicator brush!

Okay so how can I cure this tragic happening?  Simple- with water!  NO NO , DO NOT ADD WATER TO YOUR LIP GLOSS!   Just follow these directions-

Fill a glass or mug half way with water like this-

Now heat it in the microwave for 60 seconds, or until it is medium warm.  Not hot, but not luke warm.  Just like perfect ramen.  Like this-

Now put you low lip glosses into the hot water, make sure the cap or brush top is snugly tight so your lip gloss doesn't evaporate into the water... just make sure it is tight like this-

Leave it in there for 5 minutes, take it out and dry, open it up and watch how clean and clear the bottles are... mainly just lip gloss is at the bottom and it is super usable now.  Cleaver trick huh?

Now you can use all the empty lip gloss left.  Just until it will run out again right?

Until Next Time, take care guys!
