Scarves- Playing them Up

Scarves are a great statement piece and I wear them all the time... Especially when it gets cold outside.  Now that it is November I wanted to show you guys how to fold your scarves different ways, play them up with pins, and necklaces.  So let's begin shall we?

#1 Tie-

Take either a silk or cotton scarf and loop it around one of the handles on you purse, it is cute and adds a little bit of flair to your dull bag.

#2 Tie-

Loop your scarf around once, then take the ends and twist, twist, twist!  Then not the two together and tie them around the back of your neck.  This is a little hard, but with lots of practice it'll look FANTASTIC!

#3 Tie-

Take the scarf, and bring it around your neck.  It should look like the third picture.  Now tie the two remaining ends into a not.  This will look very good with a button down jacket or maybe a winter jacket.

Tip #1-

I found this on an online blog.  Okay, use 2 scarves for more warmth and style with both colors, and textures.  Find a place to put your scarf around the back of your neck.  Make sure it is comfy, and cozy!  Okay so now take the ends of both of them and pin them together on the left side (your right side shoulder) and 1 pin of your right side (your left side shoulder).

Tip #2-

Or cross both of the untied ends and pin it in the center of both.  Connecting them and making a really cute statement.

Tip #3-

Or just do a simple tie, nothing fancy, but play it up with some cute pins and buttons.  It creates that miss matched feel!  It'll look great, adorable and sweet!

So I hope that this post was a help to all of you, and it cleared up some stuff that was confusing.

Enjoy everyone!

Lip Gloss Savings

Okay, I hate when I love a lip gloss and I am dangerously low on it, so dangerously low that I don't even get anything off the applicator brush!

Okay so how can I cure this tragic happening?  Simple- with water!  NO NO , DO NOT ADD WATER TO YOUR LIP GLOSS!   Just follow these directions-

Fill a glass or mug half way with water like this-

Now heat it in the microwave for 60 seconds, or until it is medium warm.  Not hot, but not luke warm.  Just like perfect ramen.  Like this-

Now put you low lip glosses into the hot water, make sure the cap or brush top is snugly tight so your lip gloss doesn't evaporate into the water... just make sure it is tight like this-

Leave it in there for 5 minutes, take it out and dry, open it up and watch how clean and clear the bottles are... mainly just lip gloss is at the bottom and it is super usable now.  Cleaver trick huh?

Now you can use all the empty lip gloss left.  Just until it will run out again right?

Until Next Time, take care guys!

My Secret Weapon Against Dry Skin

I know you probably read the title and where sych'd to see how to get rid of Dry skin and it is actually super affordable and really simple and easy.  So I decided to make a post on it, Why not right?

Okay so you guys all know that my beauty posts usually start off with some biology behind it... an explanation if you must.  I have gotten asked the same question over and over, "How do you NOT get dry skin over the cold seasons?" and I always answer with the same answer-

Dry skin is usually the clog of dead skin cells that haven't been properly extracted... they need to go away basically.  So why don't they remove themselves?  They actually try to but fail because when you touch your face or scratch your face then it will flake off.

SO now I will show you the tutorial on how to remove your dead skin cells with... *imaginary drum roll* a TOOTHBRUSH!

Make sure you use a soft bristled tooth brush that is a battery powered electric toothbrush.

Now use a facial scrub to exfoliate your face first then use the toothbrush to improve blood flow.

Now rinse with hot water, and apply a nice moisturizer to your face to re-hydrate and drench your skin.

Now apply any kind of lip balm... I haven't used EOS yet but if you have PLEASE comment the results below!

And your finished, you should repeat this process at least twice a week.

Bye Guys!!!!!!!

Puffy Eyes?

I know that when my allergies kick into gear there is no stopping them.  I like to say good bye to puffy eyes with this trick!  Try it out, it only takes a little bit of time, and it doesn't cost any money!

Lets get started with the items you'll need!

2 spoons!

Your Fridge!
Your Tired, Puffy Eyes!

Okay so first put your 2 clean spoons into your fridge,
leave them in the fridge for about 5 or 6 minutes!  Then take them out and gently place them on your eyes!  Leave them on your eyes for about 10 minutes and your eyes should feel refreshed and cool!  And they should look really nice, and re-hydrated!  So try it out! :)

Let's talk about why it makes the puffy and swollen eyes go down!  I always have an explanation!

When your body has access water retention ,
It causes puffy, swollen, tired eyes!
When you have allergies, or what ever your cause may be your body retains water and may make parts of the body swollen such as your ankles, eyebrow area, cheek bones, and eyes puffy.  And it mainly shows out in the eyes because your eye area is the thinest skin in your body!

Why not a mask?

Most of my readers ask "Why can't we use any masks that can help our eyes become less puffed, and wrinkled?"  Well readers, that is because your skin on your eyes are ULTRA delicate, and might become wrinkled easily.  So ask your dermatologist before putting ANYTHING on your eyes.

Icy Eye Drops
And if you want extra hydration try using Rota-V's Icy Eye Drops, it will help reduce swelling and make the whites of your eyes whiter!

Or use a repairing eye serum!
Or if you want external repairing, try something like a serum that can help reduce wrinkles!  Clinique creams and serums have extra-hydration boosts that will help the elasticity stay for a longer amount of time!

      Until next time!

A Good Night's Sleep

I know that lots of you teens and adults that read my blogs may be night owls but I personally, LOVE a good night sleep.  Did you know that just 7 hours of sleep a night may just very well be what you need?  I t helps your body repair what you need to repair.  Let me explain:

Even Hello Kitty Needs Her Sleep
When you get 6-8 hours of sleep your body has plenty of time to rest itself and clean all germs and things that may harm you.  To start getting a good bed time, try to slowly turn in early.  If you stay up until 12:00 PM then you should "Hit the Hay" maybe about 11:30 PM then slowly turn in at 10:00 then balance it to a steady 9:00 PM.  Your Body needs time to rest and repair itself.

You should not waste the money on 5 Hour Energy Drinks, they only last up to an hour, and screw up your digestive system.  It doesn't matter if it will keep you up for an hour or two, you should get NATURAL rest not PLANNED Energy.  So get some Natural Shut eye instead of fakey energy that only lasts for so long, while natural energy lasts all day.

If you get tired in the middle of the day, try drinking some Vitamin Water, because you are drinking Vitamins that help regulate your digestive system it will last longer than a 5 hour energy drink which can mess up digestion and isn't good for an upset stomach, because it has a ton of sugar.  Vitamin water is all natural, Very Powerful, and worth buying.  It will keep you up up and away!

GO GET SOME SHUT EYE!!!!! I know I am, Good Night Readers!

Apple Skin Care

Apples should be a huge part of your diet, especially because it removes dirt and excess oil... let's learn how and why we use apples on our face!
When you think apples you probably think of the old saying
"An apple a day keeps the doctors away"
That's because it is probably true. Apples contain anti-oxidants that clean pores and
removes access sebum, oil, dryness, redness, and swelling.
Honey is another ingredient we use in this recipe!
It contains anti-swelling properties.  And it reduces the risk
of skin cancer, because it has natural SPFs.
Yet one more ingredient and we are finished, this ingredient is Cinnamon.
Cinnamon is an anti-bacterial and is used in many aroma therapies.

You will need all these ingredients:

Half an apple
1 TableSpoon of Honey
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon

Shred the apple so it is nice and watery chunks.  Then mix in the other ingredients.  Mix well and apply to your face in circular motion, then rinse well and pat dry, your face should feel tight and refreshed!
